The Monmouth County SPCA announced its annual Dog Walk & Pet Fair, traditionally held at Brookdale College, has been reimagined into a new and exciting Pet Palooza, A Walk for All Animals & Pet Fair.
This newly developed event will be held at the Monmouth County SPCA campus in Eatontown on April 30 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. After two consecutive years of having to hold the Dog Walk virtually due to the pandemic, the shelter is happy to once again have an in-person event to help raise much-needed funds for the thousands of animals they care for annually.
The idea of evolving the former Dog Walk into an all-inclusive Pet Palooza is to celebrate all of the animals the Monmouth County SPCA cares for, from wildlife and livestock animals to beloved family pets. The MCSPCA will be showcasing all of its shelter and community programs at the event with interactive presentations, staff meet & greets, live demonstrations and campus tours throughout the day to show the public how the animals and residents in the community are being supported each and every day.
The MCSPCA hopes to draw big crowds at this family-friendly event by offering pet-related attractions such as kitten yoga sessions, a puppy kissing booth, a dog zone with playgroups and dog-related refreshments, raffles and prizes, a kid zone with animal-related crafts and activities, food and drink, vendors for both pets & people, ½ price microchips (while supplies last) and so much more. This fundraising event encourages people to pre-register for exclusive access to event merchandise, a food and drink voucher at the event, and a personalized fundraising page where top participants can compete for big prizes. Registration with exclusive access to incentives and prizes will close April 25, however people and pets can still attend the event for a suggested donation. Cash generated from the day-of-event attractions will benefit the MCSPCA animals and programs.
Event registration is now open and the shelter is seeking both sponsors and vendors for this highly anticipated event. To register or donate, visit here.
