The Jersey Shore Partnership Foundation will kick off its annual Summer Celebration on June 13 at Fort Hancock, Sandy Hook from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m.
The huge open tent event is an extraordinary culinary experience that features shore restaurants’ favorite cuisines. Live music by Brian Kirk and the Jirks keeps the party lively for the 500 plus guests. Noted as one the shore’s best networking events, the Summer Celebration attracts corporations, businesses, environmentalists, not-for-profits, and other shore loving people that support the need to protect our beaches and fragile coastline.
The highlight of the evening is an awards program honoring outstanding individuals/organizations that support the Partnership’s mission to preserve and protect our coastline and contribute to the economy and the quality of life at the Jersey Shore and the entire State. This year’s Dinner Chair is Frank & Valerie Montecalvo of Bayshore/Montecalvo Family of Companies, and the honorary dinner chair is the Honorable Joe Kyrillos and Susan Kyrillos.
The Partnership will honor Vito Cardinale, Cardinale Enterprises & Adventure Crossings; Shore Point Distributors; and The Honorable Martin Pagliughi & Lynda Pagliughi.
The Summer Celebration fundraiser supports the mission of the Jersey Shore Partnership that advocates for state and federal funding to protect and preserve New Jersey’s 127-mile coastline that annually generates a $20 billion tourism economy and brings in millions of federal dollars in a cost-sharing partnership with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
