Last month, Tigger House hosted an open house for its new location at 93 Shrewsbury Avenue in Red Bank with the nonprofit’s founders, board members, ambassadors, student alliance representatives, members of the community and elected officials in attendance.
The mission of Tigger House is to save lives against the dangers of substance addiction, through community- fueled awareness and widespread informative education against substance abuse. It is the experience of the Stavola family and many others who have lost a loved one to addiction that “it is not the last dose of heroin that is killing our children, it is the first.”
Tigger House Foundation is working towards measurable results in the prevention of future generations lost from opiate addiction through promoting advocacy and awareness, the inspiring process behind recovery, and education.
Senator Vin Gopal, Assemblywoman Downey, Esq., and Assemblyman Houghtaling presented Tigger House with a proclamation on behalf of the State of New Jersey. “It is great to join the Stavola family for the opening of their new Tigger House Foundation location in Red Bank. God Bless their entire team for the amazing work they are doing!” Gopal commented. Monmouth County Commissioner Director Arnone, Commissioner Deputy Director Kiley and Commissioner Licitra presented Tigger House with a proclamation on behalf of the Monmouth County Board of Commissioners.
The new Red Bank location is a comfortable, safe space with a family room area, meeting table, kitchen area and office space. The new space welcomes students, individuals and families seeking support and connection.
